Bubbles Swim School is the data controller of the personal information you provide to us. This means the School determines the purposes for which, and the manner in which, any personal data relating to you and your child is to be processed.

What information do we collect about you?
We collect information about you when you book a session with us or book a place on to one of our courses or events. When booking on to a course, the categories of information that we collect, and hold include the following;

• Personal information – e.g. names, contact numbers and email addresses
• Relevant medical information
• Attendance information
• Basic payment information – payment amounts, and date of payments are recorded when payments are made to the School. No card or bank account information is stored by us.

When making a enquiry through the contact webform we collect and hold the following information:

• Personal information – e.g. names, contact numbers and email addresses
• Message
   

How will information about you be used?

•  To be able to provide our service to you.
•  To inform you of any changes to the service we provide. Such as a change of session or a cancelled booking etc. We will deliver information on these changes by email or telephone call to ensure we inform you of any changes as soon as possible
•  For us to be able to identify you when you contact us, or we contact you.
•  Medical information for health and safety of the participant in sessions.
• To manage our classes

How long will data be stored for?

Personal data from the contact Webform are stored for the time needed to answer the user’s enquiry. In this case, retention period is variable and depends of the complexity of the request. We endevour to reply to all reasonable and relevent requests made through the contact form although this is not always possible. Information collected from unanswered enquiries will be held for a period of 3 months

Booking information including participant’s and guardian's name, contact and class information are kept as long as the participant is participating in classes any information collected regarding accidents are kept for three months, this is to comply with Health & Safety regulations. Booking and class information is stored for a period of 3 years after the pupil has stopped participating in classes for the purpose of managing our classes.

Account holders and participants have the following rights in relation to the processing of their personal data. You have the right to:

Request access to the personal data that Bubbles Swim School holds.
Request that your personal data is amended if it is inaccurate or incomplete.
Request that your personal data is erased where there is no compelling reason for its continued processing.
